Fire Sprinkler Service& Install Fitter Technician
We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service and Install Fitter Technician to join our team!
The Fire Sprinkler Service& Install Fitter Technician responsible for the inspection, service and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Also responsible for ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.
In this role you will:
Assemble and install variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic
Connect pipes using threaded, soldered, grooved, or cemented joints
Cut, thread and groove pipe
Secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers
Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment such as pumps and tanks
Read blueprints and distinguish the route of the installation
Able to perform physical labor
Able to work with heights and operate lifts
Able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, work from lifts and lift up to 70 pounds
Available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings
Available to work after-hours on-call rotation
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or as part of a team
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Sprinkler Fitter Card
3 years’ experience trouble shooting, servicing and installing Fire Sprinkler systems
Familiar with applicable fire and building codes (preferred)
Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
