Service Supervisor

As the Service Supervisor, directs all service personnel, including full-time, part-time, college, and high school student employees. Follows company, state, and federal guidelines and standards regarding safety and sanitation. Ensures the quality of all service-related functions by training and assisting service personnel.Core Responsibilities:Work your scheduled shift, attending work in your proper uniformPunch in and out on time, as well as punching out for breaksPractice good hygiene and grooming. This includes taking care of your uniformEnsure the serving lines are properly garnishedTrain new service employees according to prescribed training schedule & proper portion controlUtilize proper portion control techniques as explained by cooks and managementProvide service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful mannerCommunicates to all production staff and front of the house staff any problemsAssist the Service Manager with all aspects of serviceAssist in setting up all serving lines in a timely and organized mannerMake signage for special eventsAssist in decorating the front of the houseAssist the Manager in supervising employeesAssist the Manager with schedulingChairing and organizing a safety committee meeting. Post minutes and submit copies to managers when completeAssist with special events and catering events as assignedAssist with conflict resolution between employeesRead all items routinely posted for your benefit, as well as safety, sanitation guidelines and lawsAll other duties as assigned by managementPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentThe Service Supervisor position involves physical work in a commercial kitchen environment. Responsibilities include moving inventory, product, carts, tables, etc. as well as using kitchen utensils and commercial kitchen equipment. Environment may include hot, humid, or cold temperatures. May require extended working hours at times.
