We're a family-owned OEM and integrator with more than 1,200 systems running in plants worldwide, and we do all of our mechanical assembly and service work in-house. We're hiring a mechanical Assembler to join the team that physically builds those systems.What you'll doAssemble mechanical components, fabricated metal parts, and subassemblies for palletizers and other automation systems according to build directions.Read mechanical drawings and written work instructions, then build to those specifications.Use power hand tools and pneumatic tools to complete assigned tasks.Maintain build documentation, production logs, and records of any product inconsistencies or rework.Check assembled units against performance specifications to ensure quality and uniform completion. Resolve issues when possible and flag anything outside that scope to your supervisor.Maintain a safe and clean work area by following plant procedures, safety rules, and PPE requirements.Keep materials and supplies organized at your station and communicate with the team when stock is running low.ScheduleFirst shift, with a 6 AM estimated start timeMinimum 8 hours per dayUp to 10 hours per day on demand when project workload requires itWhat we're looking forThe technical baseline:High school diploma or GEDOne year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferredComfortable interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprintsComfortable using power hand tools and pneumatic toolsWorking mechanical aptitudeBasic computer skillsHigh accuracy and strong attention to detailThe mindset that actually matters here:Team-first attitude. You'll be standing, reaching, grasping, and on your feet for most of the day, with frequent bending, squatting, and twisting.
