Maintenance Drywall Technician

Maintenance TechnicianTo maintain existing buildings and equipment in a manner consistent to current building codes, ADA and CARF requirements. To construct any additional fixtures and maintenance needs to above requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical, lighting and power circuits.
Install and maintain plumbing for light industrial usage.
Perform light carpentry, drywall and painting as needed.
Follow sound preventive maintenance for all above equipment.
Maintain adequate personal hand tools and inform supervisor when such are broken or lost.
Other duties may be assigned.
Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.

Education Requirements
High School education preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
Two years' experience in an industrial maintenance position preferred.

Employee must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider. Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
Skills & Abilities
Customer Service Oriented with a pleasant disposition
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to operations
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with a broad spectrum of people; including consumers and employees.
Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision as well as have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
Must be able to follow through with projects and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, general business instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
