Associate Attorney - Litigation

We are seeking two Associate Attorney with experience in either Construction or General Litigation to join our established firm in Tampa, FL!This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases, primarily supporting two senior attorneys, in a collaborative and professional environment that values teamwork and superior client service.This role offers a dynamic work environment within an established Tampa law firm, with opportunities for professional growth, challenging casework, and a supportive team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other court filingsManage and assist with a variety of construction defect litigation cases, including those involving residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projectsDevelop and execute case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneysPrepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as neededMaintain open communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal strategiesQualifications & RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of general or commercial litigation experiencePrior experience with construction defect litigation is preferred but not requiredAdmission to The Florida Bar or imminent eligibility requiredStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in legal research and writingCertifications such as LEED, Board Certification, or Construction Management are a plus but not requiredCompensation & Benefits$120,000 - $165,000, negotiable based on experienceMedical & Vision Insurance: 100% employer-paidDental ReimbursementPaid Time Off: Includes national holidays, PTO, and sick leaveDisability Insurance:Free parking in a covered garageOptional employee-paid life insurance401(k) planOvertime pay at time and a half for work exceeding 40 hours per week
