This role oversees scope, schedule, budget, and quality while serving as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, vendors, integrators, and internal teams. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with practical AV technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & DeliveryManage AV projects end‑to‑end, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, execution, commissioning, and close‑outDevelop and maintain project plans, risk registers, status reports, and documentationTrack milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure on‑time and on‑budget completionProactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesAV Systems & Technical CoordinationOversee deployment of AV systems including conferencing spaces, meeting rooms, training spaces, and large‑format presentation environmentsReview system designs, drawings, and equipment lists for constructability and scope alignmentCoordinate installation sequencing, system testing, commissioning, and user acceptanceEnsure systems meet functional, performance, and user experience requirementsVendor & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, AV integrators, OEMs, subcontractors, and consultantsManage vendor performance, schedules, deliverables, and change ordersCommunicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly to technical and non‑technical audiencesFacilitate meetings, site walks, and project reviewsFinancial & Commercial ManagementOwn or support project budgets, forecasts, and cost trackingReview contracts, scopes of work, quotes, and change requestsManage procurement timelines, equipment lead times, and substitutions as neededEnsure compliance with financial controls and approval processesClose‑Out & HandoverManage punch lists, final documentation, and as‑built deliverablesCoordinate training, handover, and transition to operations or support teamsEnsure projects are completed to quality standards and stakeholder expectationsRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of experience managing AV, technology, or related integration projectsStrong understanding of commercial AV systems, including:Video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)Displays, projectors, and LED video wallsAudio systems, microphones, speakers, and DSP conceptsControl systems (Crestron, Extron, Q‑SYS concepts)Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and vendorsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to coordinate cross‑functional teams including IT, facilities, construction, and business stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsCTS®, CTS‑I®, CTS‑D®, PMP®, or CAPM® certificationExperience delivering large‑scale or multi‑site AV deploymentsBackground working with AV integrators, enterprise AV teams, or construction projectsFamiliarity with construction schedules, site readiness reviews, and commissioning processesSkills & AttributesHighly organized with strong attention to detailComfortable managing multiple projects simultaneouslyCustomer‑focused with a collaborative mindsetConfident decision‑maker who can balance technical requirements with business needsEffective at resolving issues and navigating changeTravel & Physical RequirementsAbility to travel to job sites as requiredAbility to participate in site walks, inspections, and on‑site meetingsTech Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
