The candidate must live within the region. Please note: This position is not eligible for relocation and applicant must currently reside within designated region.The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Crating Division Director of Sales, and will work closely with all Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Support Managers, and other cross functional team members to support the Sales function for the company and its objectives, missions, and values.Millwood is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth within our expanding Crating and Value-Added Packaging Division. In this high-impact role, you'll identify and secure large-scale business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and shape our commercial strategy across North America.The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing sales revenue. Ultimately, this role is crucial for establishing our brand presence in the market and achieving sustainable growth.Essential duties and responsibilities:Identify, qualify and secure high-value accounts with an annual packaging and crating spend in line with Millwood's strategic growth strategyBuilds market position by developing business relationships and closing long term businessIdentifies trends through industry research and events.Proposes potential deals by contacting potential partners.Lead negotiations and close high-impact deals by negotiating contracts and integrating them with operations.Conducts industry research for effective sales solutions.Promotes products/services to prospective clients.Leverage broker partnerships to expand Millwood's presence in underserved marketsStructure long-term contracts that foster sustainable, mutually beneficial relationshipsPartner with internal design and engineering teams to develop tailored packaging and crating solutionsProvide local support for National Account customer locations that are in the territoryDocument all activity in SalesforceDevelop competitive pricing models in line with the market which protect margin integrityPerform other duties as assigned.Skills & Competencies:Ability to conform and adapt to core values and cultureExceptional verbal communication skills, with a formal and conversational English and bilingual with Spanish a plus.Succinct and clear written communicational skills in EnglishDetail-orientatedSuperior organizational skillsAbility to maintain a professional demeanorAbility to be a team playerConflict management skillsProject management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work with cross functional departmentsStrong basic math skillsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
