We hire individuals who have a strong work ethic and are looking for a career that supports our mission and impact in Solano County.WHAT YOULL DO:The Resource & Referral (R&R) Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff in the R&R Department and evaluating and managing the performance of assigned staff. They will interpret and communicate program rules, funding regulations, policies, and procedures to staff, clients, and community partners as well as assist in the development of policies and procedures, program documents, brochures, and outreach materials.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:Our ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills with a proven record of providing excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide leadership to a team and prioritize tasks.Minimum two years of experience in early childhood, child care, or similar program coordination, with knowledge of rules and policies governing state and county-funded programs preferred.Experience in implementing program operations effectively and ensuring compliance with funding requirements preferred.Proven history of efficient and effective management of a full workload/caseload.Experience as a Supervisor, Program Lead, or other Leadership Role preferred.Bilingual Spanish preferred.Required Skills & Abilities:Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as internet experienceStrong interpersonal and customer service both by telephone and in personStrong communication (verbal and written), organization, and multi-tasking skillsMust be able to prioritize assigned tasksMust work well under pressureAbility to work well with other agencies and community partners.Ability to attend meetings and outreach eventsAbility to explain agency services or programs at outreach eventsEducation & Experience Required:Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs, including coordination with community partners and service providers.Experience providing guidance, mentoring, or training to staff or community providers is highly desirable.Familiarity with community resources, family support services, and child care systems is preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities:Lead and support program staff, providing guidance and training.Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with policies and funding requirements.Monitor performance, assign tasks, and support problem-solving.Maintain accurate program data and reporting.Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.Travel Requirements:Must be able to travel as needed.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
