Job Description Metal Fabricator / Welder Wellsburg, WV $21$25 per hour Full-Time | MondayThursday | 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Hiring Company: Mancan StaffingMancan Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator / Welder for a growing manufacturing operation in Wellsburg, WV. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with metal, welding, and fabrication in a fast-paced production environment.________________________________________What Youll DoFabricate, weld, assemble, and finish steel and aluminum components and assembliesPerform bending, cutting, forming, grinding, and welding operationsSafely operate manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, drill presses, grinders, iron workers, saws, shears, and other hand/power toolsMove and organize raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipmentRead and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsMaintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the facilityAccurately label materials, complete production and safety documentation, and prepare items for shipmentCommunicate equipment issues or material defects to supervisorsWork collaboratively with team members while also being self-directedAssist in other areas as needed (cross-training provided)________________________________________QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent25 years of experience in manufacturing, construction labor, or metal fabricationWelding experience (MIG/TIG) strongly preferredAbility to read blueprints, diagrams, and measurements accuratelyStrong attention to detail and applied math skillsForklift, OSHA 10/30, AWS welding certifications are a plus (not required)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment________________________________________Tools & EquipmentExperience with metal fabrication tools such as benders, presses, lathes, shears, grinders, saws, nail guns, and related hand/power toolsAbility to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and measurement devicesRequired PPE includes safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and other task-specific equipment________________________________________Physical RequirementsSafety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testingAbility to lift up to 70 lbs using proper techniquesStanding, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout a 10-hour shiftWork performed in a manufacturing plant environment with temperature and particulate exposure________________________________________ScheduleMondayThursday | 7:00 AM 5:00 PMOvertime may be required based on business needsFull-Time (40 hours/week)We do offer our temporary employees full benefits such as paid vacation, holidays, 401K, as well as vision/dental/medical.
