Job TitleStibo STEP Developer (PIM / MDM)Role SummaryThe Stibo STEP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting the Stibo STEP PIM/MDM platform. This role focuses on data modeling, business rules, workflows, integrations, and customization, working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver scalable product and master data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesStibo STEP Development & ConfigurationDevelop and configure:Product, item, and classification hierarchiesAttributes, attribute groups, and inheritance rulesImplement business rules using:JavaScriptSTEP business rule frameworkConfigure validation rules, completeness checks, and constraintsData Modeling & GovernanceDesign and maintain:Product and master data modelsReference data and taxonomiesSupport data governance standards and stewardship workflowsManage versioning, approval states, and audit trackingWorkflow & Process AutomationDesign and implement:STEP workflows (approval, enrichment, publishing)User roles and access permissionsAutomate data lifecycle processes across teamsIntegrations & InterfacesDevelop and support integrations with:ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)eCommerce platformsDownstream systems (feeds, marketplaces, DAM)Work with:STEP REST APIsImport/export frameworksXML, JSON, CSV data formatsCustomization & ExtensionsDevelop custom extensions using:JavaJavaScriptCustomize UI components and business logicOptimize system performance and scalabilityTesting & DeploymentSupport unit testing, system testing, and UATAssist with deployment across environmentsTroubleshoot defects and performance issuesSupport & MaintenanceProvide L2/L3 support for STEP platformResolve data, workflow, and integration issuesParticipate in production support and enhancementsRequired Skills & QualificationsMust Have5+ years of experience in PIM / MDM developmentStrong hands-on experience with Stibo STEPProficiency in:JavaJavaScriptSTEP Business RulesStrong understanding of:Data modelingProduct hierarchiesMaster data governanceExperience with REST APIs and integrationsGood to HaveExperience with other PIM tools (Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica)Knowledge of DAM systemsExperience with SAP MDG or MDM solutionsSQL and database fundamentalsNice to Have (Added Advantage)DevOps / CI-CD experiencePerformance tuning and optimizationAgile / Scrum delivery experienceCloud deployment exposure
