Now Hiring: Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing / Automotive)We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting automotive customers. This role is critical in ensuring smooth order fulfillment, proactive communication, and strong customer relationships.What You’ll Do:Manage relationships with assigned customer accountsHandle inquiries related to orders, delivery status, returns, backorders, and issue resolutionProcess order entry, including interpreting EDI releases and customer requirementsCoordinate with internal teams (production, shipping, accounting) to ensure on-time deliveryMonitor inventory levels and customer demand to support order fulfillmentManage expedites, substitutions, and exception requestsEscalate potential production or supply issues with recommended solutionsSupport shipping processes (ASNs, pick lists, documentation) as neededTrack and document customer complaints and returns (RGA process)Monitor customer portals and automotive systems for updates and requirementsWhat We’re Looking For:High school diploma or GED required3+ years of customer service experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situationsHigh sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfactionAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Experience with ERP systems (Infor/Future3 a plus)Basic understanding of ASN processes preferredAdditional Details:Occasional weekends/after-hours support on a rotating basisMinimal travel requiredHands-on role that may involve time in a manufacturing environmentIf you thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy solving problems while supporting key customer relationships, this could be a great fit.
