Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer Location: Arlington, VA Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remoteResponsibilitiesConfigure, test, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise telecom solutions and servicesMonitor system performance and call quality, leading efforts to resolve performance issuesIntegrate third-party applications with Teams Phone, Five9, and other County voice servicesAssess impacts and risks of scheduled and unplanned service updates and alertsServe as a technical subject matter expert for large technical initiativesProvide Tier 3 response and support for complex service impacting incidents and problemsWork closely with internal staff (security, network, AD) and managed service providers for solution implementation and issue resolutionRecommend, evaluate, develop, and implement new products to enhance service offeringsLead the implementation of changes to existing solutionsReview and approve technical changes submitted through the formal change management processContribute to the development of long-term strategy Requirements 10+ years of telecommunications and networking experience with PSTN, VoIP, call centers, IVR, UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, SBCs, QoS, cloudDirect experience with Cisco Call Manager and Teams PhonePreference for experience with Five9 or similar CCaaS productExperience working in federal, state, or local government environmentsExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsStrong collaboration and communication skillsRef: #851-Rockville-S1
