HRIS Analyst

OverviewOur client in the financial services industry is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join its growing Human Capital team in New York. This role sits at the intersection of HR, compensation, and data analytics, supporting senior leadership with high-impact reporting and insights.This is a unique opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, delivering data-driven insights that influence firm-wide decisions.Please note: This is a hybrid remote role – 3-4 days in office per weekKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc HR reportingExtract, analyze, and validate data from WorkdayTranslate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and executive presentationsSupport compensation cycles, including bonus and attrition analysisBuild firm-wide reporting materials (including leadership and investor-facing summaries)Partner closely with HR, Compensation, and Finance teamsCreate polished presentations for senior leadership and executive audiencesEnsure data accuracy and consistency across reporting outputsContribute to building a best-in-class people analytics and reporting function Qualifications3–6+ years of experience in HRIS, People Analytics, or HR AnalyticsStrong experience with Workday reporting (required)Advanced Excel/data manipulation skillsDemonstrated ability to translate data into insights and storytellingExperience creating executive-level presentations (PowerPoint/decks)Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and qualityExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environmentPreferred BackgroundExperience in compensation consulting or analytical consulting environmentsExposure to compensation, incentives, or equity programsFinance or business analytics backgroundFamiliarity with presentation tools (e.g., Macabacus)Interest in leveraging AI tools for analytics and productivityWhat Makes This Role UniqueHigh visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadershipOpportunity to shape and build a best-in-class reporting functionBroad exposure across HR, compensation, and financeFast-paced environment with meaningful, high-impact workStrong career progression opportunities within the organizationCompensationBase salary: $120,000 (flexible for the right candidate)Performance bonus eligible
