Application Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Provide technical support, selections, and estimating assistance to sales teams during the project design or proposal phase.• Support detailed project estimating and scope of work development in conjunction with sales.• Prepare customer proposals, quote letters, and associated documentation, including project takeoffs and specification review.• Manage project Profit and Loss (P&L) and customer satisfaction for assigned projects.• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop and provide engineered equipment submittals.• Coordinate the factory equipment order process, including material selection, ordering, and delivery tracking.What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe Writer, and basic Windows operating system.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.• Demonstrated ability to manage a large and diverse number of projects simultaneously with professionalism and persistence.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($76,000 - $105,000) plus a comprehensive benefits package.• Opportunity to support building systems and equipment projects.• Engage in both pre-sales and post-sales activities.• Develop and maintain strong customer and contractor relationships.Apply via Haystack today!
