Life Enrichment Coordinator

Job Description Are you passionate about working with seniors? Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity to work with a dedicated professional team?The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible to develop and integrate resident programming that focuses on the 7 dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental and cultural. Responsibilities:Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for the residentsCreatively addresses the need to provide one-on-one activities to residents that may be confined to their room Actively motivates residents to participate in activities by providing an accurate calendar of events that engages them with other residents in the community with similar interests Lead daily group and 1 on 1 activities including but not limited to games, exercises, crafts, socials, outings, and devotionals Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experienceSupports and proactively participates in the community's census building initiatives Must have the ability to organize and implement events and programming to meet the needs of all residents Assist with transportation of resident during activitiesMaintain activity suppliesCompile and maintain accurate reporting as required/requestedComplete monthly calendars and activity reports as requiredPresent a professional image and exhibit a manner that is cordial and respectfulUse integrity, good judgement, and critical thinking skills in making decisionsAttend/complete required in-services and other mandatory trainings and meetingsReport to work on-time and ready for the workdayRequirements:Activities Certification desired, High School Diploma or GED, associate degree in a related field is acceptable1-3 years of experience in Assisted Living and Personal Care Home preferredValid Driver's License in the current state & satisfactory driving record Job Type: Part-timeBenefits: EWA (Earned Wages Access) programEmployee assistance program Flexible scheduleEducation: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred) Activities Certification (Preferred) CPR & First Aid, Fire SafetyWork Location: In personEEO
