Senior Full Stack Engineer - Azure SQL, JavaScript
TSV is partnering with a high growth, Health Tech company to hire a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Health Tech, PBM, or Prior Authorization domains.This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in client-facing environments, excels at diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and can set the technical standards for a fast-growing healthcare technology organization.You will lead debugging, troubleshooting, database optimization, API integrations, automation, and product feature development, applying deep expertise in JavaScript, Azure SQL, Azure Cloud, and stored procedures. Success requires strong database skills and experience with caching strategies, performance tuning, and system reliability.Responsibilities:• Serve as a client-facing engineering partner, translating technical issues and product needs into clear, actionable solutions.• Identify, investigate, and resolve software issues across front-end (Kendo UI, JavaScript) and database-layer (stored procedures, query optimization) components.• Conduct root-cause analysis and write advanced SQL queries to troubleshoot data inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and application slowdowns.• Design, develop, and enhance new product features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with Product requirements.• Build and maintain API integrations that support automation, workflow efficiency, and interoperability across systems.• Optimize database stored procedures and cache mechanisms to improve execution speed and system efficiency.• Monitor, debug, and maintain applications running in Azure Cloud, ensuring reliability and scalability.• Develop and implement performance-tuning strategies, including indexing and partitioning optimization.• Implement and manage cache-clearing strategies to prevent stale data and optimize system responsiveness.• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, QA, and Product to maintain a stable, responsive, and high-performing system.• Conduct thorough code reviews and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent future issues.• Operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to evolving business needs and infrastructure changes.Requirements• 10+ years of full stack engineering experience with a strong database focus, including troubleshooting, debugging, optimization, and automation.• Expertise in JavaScript, Azure Cloud, Azure SQL, stored procedures, and modern API integration patterns.• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries to diagnose and resolve database-layer issues.• Experience developing new product features and partnering closely with Product teams.• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.• Background in Health Tech, PBM, or Prior Authorization domains.• Ability to develop systems and patterns to measure both individual and team output.• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to solving performance-related issues.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-growth startup setting.• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
