Litigation AssociatePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Associate to support and manage commercial litigation matters from intake through trial. The successful candidate will perform legal research and writing, lead discovery and e-discovery efforts, draft and argue motions, take depositions, and collaborate with partners and clients to resolve business disputes and corporate governance issues. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing, and hands-on experience with discovery and courtroom practice.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of litigation for a diverse docket of commercial matters, including business disputes and landlord-tenant casesConduct legal research and draft clear, persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and client correspondenceLead and coordinate discovery and e-discovery processes, including drafting requests, managing productions, and using e-discovery toolsPrepare for and conduct depositions, participate in hearings, and appear in court as necessaryDraft and argue pre-trial motions and assist with trial preparation, exhibits, witness preparation, and trial strategyCounsel clients on litigation risk, case strategy, settlement options, and corporate governance implicationsWork closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop case theory, maintain case budgets, and meet client deadlinesSupervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals, delegating tasks and reviewing work product for quality and accuracyMaintain organized case files, litigation calendars, and meet billing and administrative requirementsCollaborate with outside vendors, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel to advance client interests efficientlyQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in California3+  years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation and business disputesProven experience with discovery, e-discovery platforms, and document review workflowsExcellent legal research and writing skills with a demonstrated record of drafting pleadings, motions, and briefsPractical experience taking and defending depositions and participating in hearings or trialsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and defend case strategyFamiliarity with corporate governance issues and experience handling landlord-tenant matters a plusAbility to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently while maintaining attention to detailExcellent client communication, negotiation skills, and a professional courtroom presenceProficiency with litigation support tools, case management software, and Microsoft OfficeBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth savings accountMedical spending account*Dependent care spending account*Life insurance (basic & supplemental)Accidental death & dismemberment insurance (basic & supplemental)Family building benefitsShort term disabilityLong term disabilityRetirement savings programFinancial well-being resourcesAnnual flu shotEmployee assistance programChild care and elder care resource & referral serviceCommuter benefit program*529 college savings planVoluntary benefits including long term care insurance Email Your Resume In Word ToCam.Stewart@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
