Shipper Receiver
Description:Position SummaryThe Shipper/Receiver is responsible for managing the accurate and timely flow of all incoming and outgoing product. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to operate a forklift safely, and coordination with internal teams and external carriers to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time shipments.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficientlyReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slipsPrepare, stage, and ship outgoing product according to shipping schedules and customer requirementsOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with safety standardsManage and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventoryEnsure product is properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damageIdentify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving areaFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulationsQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to obtain fork truck certification after start dateStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to read shipping documents, bills of lading, and packing listsBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.This position works in the companies ERP software, Global Shop, to receive purchase orders.Ability to lift, move, and stack product as required (with or without accommodation)Strong communication and teamwork skillsWork Location:102 Freedom Drive, Lawrence, PA 15055Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-FPay Range: $21 - $23 / hour depending on experienceBenefits:401(k) matching Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shift: 7am – 3:30pmOvertimeAbility to commute/relocate:Lawrence, PA 15055: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Industrial work environment: 1 years minimumRequirements:Compensation details: 21-23 Hourly Wage
