About the RoleAs a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be at the forefront of customer engagements, leading the deployment and implementation of AI agents and intelligent workflows within strategic customer environments.You'll partner directly with engineering teams, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to understand their workflows, design AI-powered solutions, and ensure successful adoption across their organization. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.This role combines software engineering, AI systems design, solution architecture, customer engagement, and product strategy. You'll help customers solve complex operational challenges while influencing the evolution of the platform through real-world customer feedback.What You'll DoLead deployments of AI agents and enterprise AI solutions for customers.Design and implement AI-powered workflows that integrate with customer systems, data, and business processes.Work directly with customer engineering teams to deploy LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and AI automation solutions.Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout customer onboarding, implementation, and expansion.Diagnose and solve complex technical challenges across enterprise AI environments.Manage multiple customer implementations and technical workstreams simultaneously.Translate customer needs into product improvements, platform capabilities, and AI workflow enhancements.Collaborate closely with engineering, product, research, and go-to-market teams to improve customer outcomes.Help shape the future direction of the platform through firsthand exposure to customer challenges and emerging AI use cases.What We're Looking For1–2+ years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Client-Facing Software Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role.Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building backend systems, integrations, or AI-powered applications.Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, or modern AI application architectures.Experience deploying software or AI solutions into customer or production environments.Comfortable working directly with customers to understand technical requirements, solve implementation challenges, and drive successful outcomes.Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development practices.Exceptional customer empathy and ability to connect technical solutions to business objectives.Strong ownership mentality with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders.Passion for AI and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.Nice to HaveExperience building production AI applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, knowledge systems, or agent orchestration.Experience integrating AI into enterprise software, internal tools, or business workflows.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern software development practices.Experience working in startup or high-growth environments.Working EnvironmentDistributed team spanning multiple time zones with a strong emphasis on asynchronous collaboration.Small, highly collaborative team with significant ownership and autonomy.Fast-paced environment focused on building category-defining AI products and delivering transformative customer outcomes.Opportunity to work directly with customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.Hybrid work environment with regular in-person collaboration.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary and equity package.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Retirement savings program.Flexible paid time off.Regular team offsites and company gatherings.Opportunity to work alongside an ambitious, collaborative, and high-performing team.
