This role is a full‑time, on‑site position (40 hours per week) supporting active construction projects throughout the Phoenix Metro area.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as Liaison or Main Contact / Coordinator with Client (City/Owner) and Contractor during construction projectsReviews project plans, requirements and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the projectFacilitate Progress/Owner MeetingsPrepare Meeting Minutes and distribute to Project TeamInterpret and provide recommendations for the Prime Contract between Contractor and City/OwnerOversee Construction Contract Budget, Review Schedule of Values and Payment Applications submitted by ContractorReview Contractor’s Schedules / Provide Comments to Contractor and City/OwnerReview Cost Proposals from the Contractor / Provide recommendations to City/Owner. Perform inspections of work performed by the Contractor, including coordination with subconsultants, etc. Take photographs and prepare daily reports documenting work activities performed and whether they comply with project requirementsPrepare project punch lists, review contractor redlines, and prepare project close out documentsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is preferred.Applicable experience of 4-8 years working in the water, wastewater, transportation or civil construction industry, preferably as a Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Civil Construction Inspector, or similar may be substituted for the degree requirementKnowledge of construction means & methods and quality control measures, along with knowledge and experience in water/wastewater construction is a plusProactive and self-motivated individual, able to meet challenging time constraintsProficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook softwareFamiliar with Microsoft Project and P6 Scheduling software a plusBenefitsThe comprehensive benefits plan offered by Wilson Engineers exceeds industry standards, and is aimed at meeting each employee's personal and professional expectations.
