Join a team with purpose!The candidate will be responsible for the daily operations, supervision of personnel, and business functions of the Firm. Work with Partners to develop short-term and long-term goals. Maintain lines of communication within the Firm. Ensure that the Firm's policies and procedures are implemented and followed by all employees.Essential Job FunctionsPersonnel and Human ResourcesRecruiting Assess staffing needs Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with regulationsMaintain employee filesOversee and manage employees Conduct employee annual and 90-day reviews Employee offboarding Coordinate employee schedulesReview employee timecards/approve overtime OtherLiaison with Firm's business insurersAssist attorneys in renewal and update requirements to State Bar of California and Secretary of StateMaintain current Firm case list Interact with the Firm's outside vendorsPlan Firm events and coordinate Firm participation in various sponsored eventsSupervise and oversee Beverly Hills office administrationSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises all employees.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcellent people skills, including written and oral communication skillsStrong proofreading skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), legal softwareCustomer Service orientedWorks well in a team environment or independentlyWell-developed interpersonal skillsMaintains confidentialityDemonstrates good judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and a proactive work ethicTime managementAttention to detailStrong organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to multitask and attention to detailUnderstanding of litigation processes/terminology and workflowEducation and Experience5 years or more of prior office management experience required2 years or more of experience as an HR assistant or similar requiredHigh School diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred5 years of law firm experience is a plus, but not requiredWe offer a competitive benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and 401(k).The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 a year Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience. xhyhwjd Shernoff Bidart Echeverria LLP is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
