Payroll AnalystA well-established financial firm based in New York City is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join its growing team. This hybrid opportunity offers a competitive base salary of $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus potential.ResponsibilitiesAssist with payroll processing for approximately 500 employees across multiple U.S. states on bi-weekly and semi-monthly cyclesSupport month-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 reporting, amended filings, and taxable fringe benefit processingEnsure payroll transactions are completed efficiently and in accordance with established timelinesProcess and reconcile timekeeping and attendance records within payroll systemsReview payroll data for accuracy, including employee earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and benefit contributionsPartner with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related initiatives, reporting, and operational projectsCoordinate payroll-related payments such as garnishments and vendor invoicesRespond to employee payroll inquiries and assist with issue resolutionQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance concentration preferred2+ years of relevant payroll or accounting experiencePrior experience within financial services is a plus
