Overview In this role you will drive development of mission-critical systems in a hybrid, on-site setting, leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and code quality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and rollout scalable Java-based solutions, aligning with enterprise standards. You’ll work on high-volume, transactional applications and continuously improve development workflows alongside AI-driven leads. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a transformational tech program. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Product Owners, QA, PMO, DevOps and other developers to define requirements, design, and develop mission critical applicationsUtilize AI development tools to enhance coding efficiency, code review, testing, and documentation processesAnalyze, design and develop application solutions and enhancements that meet requirementsEnsure adherence to programming and enterprise architectural standardsComplete work assignments and perform appropriate follow up to ensure that tasks are completed on timeCollaborate with product owners, application users, creative team and other developers to define requirements, design, and develop the web applicationAssist in the rollout of new applications, problem fixes, and enhancements of softwareWork alongside AI-enthusiastic technical leads to continuously improve development workflows Key requirements5+ years programming with Java (backend development focus), JEE, Web ServicesExperience with webservice/API development using Java-based enterprise technologies and tools using Java 8 and above, Microservices architecture, Spring and RESTMust be able to code in prevailing technologies including Java, Spring, SQL including conceptual knowledge with cloud native solutions from AWSProven abilities delivering code with CI/CD development methodologiesExperience with modern development tools (ideally Eclipse/Intellij, Git, Maven, CI servers, Azure DevOps (or other tools), code review tools)Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design concepts and designing and developing Microservices using the Spring ecosystemKnowledge of developing Spring Data access application with AWS RDS or NoSQL data storesConceptual Experience with API design and implementationConceptual Knowledge with container orchestrators and container engines (Docker, AWS ECS)Analytical, problem-solving mindsetSelf-driven with minimal supervisionExperience working on a production-critical systemOpenness to learning and integrating AI tools into development workflowAnalyticalSelf-drivenCollaborativeJava (backend)JEEWeb Services
