I have a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician available north of Organ Cave, West Virginia!Details- Full-time- Shifts: Evening or Night- Opportunities for growth- Full, comprehensive benefits package (PTO, health insurance, life insurance, 401k, etc)Requirements- Associate's or Bachelor's degree- MT ASCP certification (would consider MLT ASCP)- Prior lab experience and knowledgeJob Description- Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Prepares specimens for microscope examination. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. Ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to the department's policies and procedures. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulative requirements. Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures.
