Job Category: Mainframe DeveloperJob Type: OnsiteJob Location: Austin TexasCompensation: Depends on ExperienceW2: W2-Contract Only; Kindly note that applications on a C2C basis will not be considered for this role.Job DescriptionJob Description:8 to 12 Yrs of experience in the Mainframe & Java Modernisation space.The Candidate has experience in understanding the requirements for the Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.The tech stack used is Java FSD, Python, Mainframe technologies(COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS,MQ) etc as mandatory.The Candidate was part of the LMCOE (Legacy Migration) in his previous engagement.The Candidate has knowledge in automation tools in developing the problem statement using Python.The Candidate has experience and worked on the Mainframe Modernization in migration On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud Migration to Azure, Migration to Microfocus.The Candidate has understanding in building the team composition for Migration Projects Programming experience on Mainframe COBOL/CICS/JCL/IMS/DB2 Strong in triaging production issues using all the basic tools in Mainframe.Knowing Java/distributed solutions will be super plus Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.
