Key Responsibilities: Resident Care Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and feeding. Provide mobility assistance including transferring residents between beds, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices. Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight) as directed. Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nurse on duty. Assist with range-of-motion exercises and other restorative care activities. Safety & Infection Control Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Follow infection prevention and control policies at all times (including PPE use, hand hygiene, and isolation protocols). Ensure call lights are within reach and respond promptly to resident needs. Documentation & Communication Accurately document care provided in the electronic medical record or daily log. Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care. Participate in shift reports, team meetings, and care planning discussions. Resident Support & Comfort Encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Assist in maintaining a home-like, respectful, and caring atmosphere. Additional Duties Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents. Transport residents to therapy sessions, activities, or dining areas. Restock supplies, clean equipment, and maintain organized work areas. Perform other related duties as assigned by nursing or supervisory staff. Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing Pay: From $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Work Location: In person
