In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Restaurant Managers gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment.What You'll Do:Lead and support the Auburn Hills mission, vision, and cultureSupport and influence the restaurant's overall operational and financial goalsWork flexible work schedules to support the restaurant's operations and guest demandsAvailable to work 10 hour shifts up to a 50 hour work weekAbility to open and close the restaurant while performing safe and secure auditsStrictly adhere to all Company policies and proceduresHold self and team members accountable to the restaurant dress code, break and lunch meal periods, and discounts policiesMaintain a positive working relationship and treat all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedbackManage cash accountability systems through verifying safe counts, register counts, safe deposits, and opening/closing the day on InformLead, follow-up, and participate in daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning checklistsEnsure that Shift Leaders/Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot, and overall facility cleanlinessBe a Food Safety Ambassador in your work center and during your shiftsParticipate in Safe Daily Criticals, ERQAs, and Equipment Temperature ChecksEnsure that Shift Leaders/Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all ordersEnsure that Shift Leaders/Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelinesAddresses guest issues that may arise using the HEARD model, consults with Owner/Operator regarding complex issuesDevelopment:Prepare for and participate in weekly Director leadership meetingsDevelop your team leaders through weekly team connectsPerform Team Member interviews and select talent for your work centerWrite and administer Team Member and Shift Leader reviewsPrepare and participate in Monthly/Quarterly "Leader Connects" with the Owner/OperatorParticipate in community engagement events such as school presentations, charitable events, and volunteer opportunitiesParticipate as a Grand Opening Trainer or in other market training opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For:Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership roleStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsA passion for developing others and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented settingAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsWilling and able to work in a physically demanding role (including being able to lift up to 50lbs, work on feet for several hours, able to work outdoors in drive-thru)Reliable transportationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBenefits of Joining Our Team:Competitive payPaid time offFree employee meal while workingHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid training and opportunities for leadership developmentPerformance-based bonuses and other incentivesA welcoming, inclusive work environment that values personal growthWhy Chick-fil-A Auburn Hills?At Chick-fil-A, you're not just taking a job you're embarking on a career.
