Event Planner and Venue Sales Manager

We are hiring a full-time Event Planner & Venue Manager to support both the client planning experience and the venue coordination that ensures each event runs seamlessly.This role sits at the intersection of planning, client experience, and venue operations, making it an ideal fit for someone who enjoys balancing relationships, logistics, and day-to-day execution in a thoughtful, professional way.In this role, you will guide clients from initial inquiry through event day while also supporting venue tours, bookings, and internal systems that keep venue operations organized. You will play a key role in shaping the overall client experience—ensuring communication remains clear, details stay on track, and each event is executed with care and precision.On event days, you will lead the team on-site, navigate challenges as they arise, and ensure the event unfolds smoothly with confidence and professionalism.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Client Management• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and vendors from onboarding through event day• Lead planning services with minimal oversight, including client meetings, walkthroughs, vendor coordination, and creation of key event documents• Develop personalized design concepts that reflect each client’s vision and aesthetic• Oversee event-day execution, leading the team on-site and ensuring a seamless guest experienceVenue Sales & Coordination• Manage venue inquiries, lead tours, and guide prospective clients through the booking process• Maintain contracts, timelines, and venue materials to ensure organization and readiness• Support sales and marketing efforts by contributing ideas that enhance bookings and overall client experienceTeam Collaboration & Brand Representation• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment through meetings, training, and ongoing support• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and overall service delivery• Represent Nicole Mower Weddings & Events with professionalism, warmth, and strong brand alignment⸻What We’re Looking For• 3+ years of event planning, project management, or related client-facing experience (venues, catering, rentals, etc.)• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage both client experience and logistics independently• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple events, timelines, and priorities simultaneously• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with a forward-thinking mindset• Clear, professional, and warm communication style• Confident leading teams on event days with a calm, steady presence under pressure• Creative with an eye for design and a desire to contribute to each client’s vision• Positive, collaborative, and aligned with a hospitality-driven environment⸻Additional Details• Full-time role with flexible scheduling, including weekday, weekend, and event-day availability• Travel to venues across Maine and New Hampshire required• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential⸻Compensation & Perks• Base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities• Monthly health insurance stipend• 401(k) with company match• Paid time off (PTO)• Flexible work schedule• Mileage reimbursement for approved travel• Professional development opportunities• Collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented team culture
