We are expanding our capabilities to include advanced HVAC, BAS (Building Automation Systems), and controls integration, and we’re looking for a solutions-driven engineer to help bridge our innovative controls platform with diverse mechanical and building automation systems in the field.About the RoleAs a HVAC Product & BAS Engineer, you will be the bridge between our innovative controls platform and the diverse mechanical systems in the field. You’ll play a critical role in:✅ Designing and specifying system integrations (boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and advanced HVAC equipment) ✅ Supporting product development teams with real-world application requirements ✅ Providing consultative support to sales and implementation teams ✅ Serving as an internal subject matter expert on HVAC and chiller systemsThis is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a hybrid of technical design, field application, and product strategy.What You’ll DoSystem Design & Application EngineeringDevelop integration strategies for chillers, VRF systems, and other complex HVAC equipment.Create control sequences and specification documents for system deployments.Advise on equipment compatibility (BACnet, Modbus, proprietary protocols).Collaborate with the software team to define requirements for hardware and cloud interfaces.Product Development SupportProvide HVAC system insights to guide new product features and capabilities.Participate in testing and validation of Entech’s solutions on live systems.Analyze field data to recommend improvements to controls and performance.Customer & Sales SupportSupport pre-sales efforts by developing solution proposals and technical presentations.Serve as a technical point of contact for large retrofit projects.Train partners and internal teams on system design best practices.What You BringMust-Haves3–7 years experience in HVAC, chiller systems, or building automation (design, commissioning, or controls).Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydronic distribution and central plant equipment.Familiarity with integration protocols: BACnet/IP, BACnet MSTP, Modbus, or similar.Ability to read and develop mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and control sequences.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
