Annual Compensation: $70,304- $75,000 with a quarterly bonus potential
Job Type: Full‑time

A restaurant General Manager oversees all aspects of FOH and BOH. Working closely with their corporate team, KM’s and supervisors, they are responsible for ensuring that their restaurant is run smoothly, efficiently and profitably, which often means making sure that the right people are in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
Controllable
Ensuring that stores have proper inventory levels to serve guests and maintain an appropriate food/paper/chemical costs.
Ensure that the stores are properly staffed in each department and breaks are given when appropriate.
GM must get final approval to all new hires, discipline action and terminations from DM.
GM must control daily and weekly labor costs, scheduling appropriately and receiving approval from their DM.
Ensure plates, glassware, utensils and equipment are properly stored and cleaned to prevent loss and breakage.
Vendor management working with GM on any issues or building new relationships.
Manage controllables including but not limited to utilities, linens, chemicals, etc.
Cleanliness
Ensure that all FOH and BOH areas are properly cleaned.
Verify all daily/weekly checklists and cleaning lists are being completed.
All maintenance requests, and scheduling all preventative maintenance must be logged and communicated.
Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the interior and exterior including upkeep of landscaping, parking areas, restrooms, fixtures, lighting, furniture and décor.
Compliance with guidelines and regulations related to safe food handling, storage and preparation.
Communication
Daily communication with supervisors and KM/Kitchen supervisors.
At least twice a week meeting with DM and the corporate team.
Monthly/quarterly meetings and trainings as required.
Marketing calls and meetings to grow sales.
Service
Ensure all positions meet the company standards in timeliness and approach to the guest.
Food presentation, quality and timeliness are up to company standards.
Appearance of every staff member is appropriate, including but not limited to clean non‑slip shoes, shirt, pants, hair, etc.
Staff look energetic, upbeat and on task.
Store management monitors and checks in with every department, touching tables to ensure every guest has an exceptional experience.
Employee Satisfaction and Performance
Team members feel supported by management while maintaining clear expectations.
Ensure that store management follows company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
Provide constant feedback to staff on opportunities to improve and acknowledge positive characteristics.
Staff feel appreciated and well-communicated with new specials or changes in the operations.
Resolve HR issues in a timely manner and/or conduct any HR investigations if advised by HR.
Work with the DM, KM and supervisors to ensure disciplinary processes are followed.
Perform employee reviews quarterly and provide feedback from DM.
Admin
Conduct interviews and hiring for all positions.
Complete onboarding and finalize paperwork with employees.
Audit employee roster and check validity of certifications.
Keep all employee files up to date.
Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner.
Money
Ensure the store has necessary cash to get through service weekly.
Maintain accurate records of deposits, withdrawals and checks.
Training
Follow Playlync to ensure training is done properly; cross‑train when necessary.
Seek and develop new managers, promoting from within.
Ensure all supervisors are trained in all aspects of the restaurant so they are ready to step into new roles when available.
