Rear Load Drivers

Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Rear Load Driver, under direction of the Rear Load Supervisor, distributes, collects, and empties company issued commercial waste receptacles for Sanitation customers.Essential Functions:Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehiclesEmpties commercial waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheetOpens and closes door on receptacles placed inside an enclosureActively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet to the dispatch teamNotifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on routeReviews and completes daily work ordersEnsures accurate completion of route sheet and VCR by the end of each dayAbility to proficiently navigate, in forward and reverse motion, driveways, alleyways, empty lots, high traffic roadways with potential limited overhead and compact areas.Ability to operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal lawsOther duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to safely operate a DOT vehicleAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistanceAbility to maneuver a container, placed on canisters, for service accessAbility to proficiently operate a DOT vehicle in a reverse motionAbility to convey Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and communityActively demonstrates Sanitation’s core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and CommunicationAbility to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Sanitation’s 4 Step Decision Making ProcessAbility to collaborate with coworkersAbility to prioritize activities in order to achieve, individual and team, expectations and goalsEducation And ExperiencePossess a valid Class A or B Driver’s License2 years of professional commercial driving experience, preferredMust have experienceWorking ConditionsThis position will be based in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements, with extended periods of standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting.Company DescriptionMEMCO staffing was founded in 1996, we are not your everyday staffing agency, we place good people with a fitted client, 95% of your jobs are temp to perm, We take care of our clients as well as our employees.Company DescriptionMEMCO staffing was founded in 1996, we are not your everyday staffing agency, we place good people with a fitted client, 95% of your jobs are temp to perm, We take care of our clients as well as our employees.
