Title: Software Engineer (Systems) 3*Local to CADescription:Primary Function of Position:The ideal candidate will have proven experience in DevOps GCP architecting/engineering within a regulated environment, support for mid-sized development teams, and success in developing infrastructure as code for dynamic environments.Roles and Responsibilities:Focusing on infrastructure automation, cloud integration, and execution of infrastructure as code methodologies. This position will work closely with developers, DBAs, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle in delivering best in class technical infrastructure to support external product deliveryAutomation (Infrastructure as code, patching, release management, etc.)Participate in the development, execution, and support of Infrastructure release management and operationsEstablish monitoring and infrastructure health reporting for advancement of self-healing infrastructure principlesEnhance/extend a configuration/deployment/monitoring framework in partnership with Site Reliability Engineer(s)Support cloud environment on GCPInteract with internal customers and development team to gather and define requirements and document architectureFollows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and also adheres to regulations, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery within area of responsibilityDeploy and manage a DevOps pipeline using tools such as; Ansible, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitWork with NoSQL Datastores (such as MongoDB) and RDMS like Microsoft SQL, MYSQL, PostGreProvides off-hours support for critical applications as requiredExperience:DevOps Engineer/DevOps Architect with strong GCP expertiseMin 5 years of Engineering experience and min 3 years of GCP and 2 years of Kubernetes and familiarity with Airflow.Min High School.Skills:GCP (GCP is required and any other alternative cloud experience will not transfer), Kubernetes and Airflow.Local candidate required.
