Classification TitleOPS Academic Support Specialist (Faculty Affairs & Operations)Classification Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Job DescriptionThis temporary position provides support across faculty affairs and academic operations within the College of Nursing. The role helps maintain continuity during a transition period by assisting with faculty workflows, instructional coordination, evaluation processes, and academic data management.This position works closely with academic leadership, faculty, and staff to support efficient and accurate day‑to‑day operations.Faculty Affairs & Instructional SupportSupport faculty scheduling and teaching assignments across didactic, simulation, and clinical coursesAssist with workload tracking, including TAMS workload data and teaching assignment recordsProvide support for annual faculty evaluation and FEA processes, including timelines, tracking, and documentationCoordinate course evaluations, including GatorEvals setup, distribution, monitoring response rates, and tracking completionAssist with data clean up related to faculty records, teaching assignments, and evaluation dataMaintain records related to faculty assignments, instructional activity, and academic participationAssist with faculty submissions, awards, and related documentation as neededAcademic Operations & Data SupportMaintain and update academic and faculty data across systemsProvide assistance with data clean up to improve accuracy, consistency, and reporting readinessSupport setup, distribution, and tracking of evaluation and survey processes as neededRun and support routine reports related to enrollment, faculty activity, and program operationsAssist with data tracking for accreditation, reporting, and leadership needsSupport coordination across systems to ensure data accuracy and consistencyAdditional SupportAssist with scheduling, calendars, and general academic operations as neededProvide administrative and coordination support across teams during peak periodsOther duties as assignedExpected Salary$20-$25 per hourRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.PreferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple timelines and prioritiesClear and professional communication with faculty and staffExperience with academic operations, faculty support, or data tracking is helpfulSpecial Instructions To ApplicantsIn order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter and resume.Application must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.This is a time limited position.Health Assessment Required: No
