1. About Our Client:The organization operates in the commercial vehicle fleet industry, focusing on improving efficiency and sustainability. It develops innovative hardware and data analytics solutions, including an automatic tire inflator and a cloud-based tire analytics platform. These technologies help reduce fleet downtime and lower the environmental impact of freight operations.2. About the Opportunity:The Sales Data Analyst will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that enhance sales effectiveness and customer outcomes. This role bridges Sales, Data Science, and Customer Engagement by delivering tailored analyses and improving how data informs customer conversations and business strategy.3. Responsibilities:• Partner with Sales teams to create and deliver customized, customer-facing data analyses and presentations• Translate complex datasets into clear insights and narratives for cross-functional teams• Perform in-depth, customer-specific analyses to identify trends and opportunities beyond standard reports• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools• Provide data-driven input during customer calls and internal strategy meetings• Maintain feedback loops with Sales and customers to enhance data output quality• Support Sales and Marketing initiatives with exploratory analyses to guide strategies and product positioning• Collaborate with Data Science to improve analytical frameworks and expand data capabilities• Work with product and engineering teams to address data anomalies and issues• Contribute to developing tools, processes, and best practices for data use across the organization4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field• 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics, preferably in customer-facing or revenue-support roles• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data analysis, with experience in environments like Jupyter notebooks• Experience creating dashboards or visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI• Ability to communicate complex data clearly for non-technical audiences• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in exploratory analyses• Experience automating reporting workflows and data pipelines is a plus• Comfortable collaborating across Sales, Engineering, and Data Science teams• Self-motivated, proactive, curious, and accountable• Excellent communication skills for technical and customer-facing discussions5.
