A company is looking for a Coding Advocate-Revenue Cycle Liaison. Key Responsibilities Review system-generated coding edits and determine appropriate corrective actions Analyze documentation to validate coding assignments and ensure compliance with guidelines Collaborate with coding staff to resolve complex issues and abstract clinical information for coding Required Qualifications and Education Associate degree may be required Certification from AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (RHIT or CCS) is necessary Typically requires 4+ years of related OBS/OPS coding experience Proficiency in multiple specialties of coding discipline Additional credentials may be beneficial
