For our client, we are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer (Controls & Perception) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.This role will focus on developing advanced robotics software that improves motion control, perception, and system reliability in automated environments. You will work across control algorithms, sensor fusion, and computer vision to support intelligent instrument designs and high-performance automation. The position also calls for close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to identify failure modes and strengthen real-world performance.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annuallyResponsibilities Develop advanced control algorithms for robotic motion and liquid handling Create real-time perception capabilities using sensor fusion and computer vision Improve automation software performance and reliability through optimization Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on intelligent instrument designs Identify failure modes and ensure robust system performance in real-world scenariosQualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 7+ years of experience in control, perception, or automation software Strong foundation in control systems engineering techniques Proficiency in developing real-time and embedded software in C++ Hands-on experience with perception technologies and testing methodologiesBenefits Comprehensive healthcare program including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan for eligible employees Flexible work environment with remote options Travel opportunities for professional growthOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
