Anticipated Opening 2025/2026 School YearSchool Spring #5371634Work Location:DistrictSalary:$40.00/hr - DESE Certified$30.00/hr - Bachelor's Degree$25.00/hr - Associate's DegreeOrganizational Relationshipor Line of Authority:Directly responsible to the Executive Director of Student Support Services and/or their designee. Jointly responsible to the appropriate Curriculum Supervisor.Statement of Duties:Provide customized instruction to meet the needs of the student being tutored for reasons regarding:Special educationLong-term suspensionApproved home/hospital formThe discretion of the Executive Director of Student Support ServicesCoordinate with faculty to provide content instruction and assessment of student work.Build a positive rapport with students, teachers, and families to ensure the academic success of HPS students.Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Curriculum Supervisors, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Haverhill School Committee. Qualifications:Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred.Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required.Knowledge of school philosophy, organization, and curriculum.Understanding of the school student and their needsKnowledge of recommended school instructional practices.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.An Equal Opportunity Employer
