Maintenance Techician

Green Leaf, Inc is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician on day shift to join our team. This individual is responsible for performing a wide range of repair and maintenance services including: inspecting, installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of manufacturing equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machinery, equipment and buildings. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Perform a variety of maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the appropriate manager. Coordinate with any outside contractors for maintenance and repair tasks. Responsible for preparing and maintaining all records associated with the work performed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 3 years of experience in injection molding preferred. Mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues. Ability to read prints and schematics. Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenance experience. Basic computer and reporting skills. Experience working in a fast paced environment. Ability to handle multiple projects. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a normal injection molding manufacturing facility. The employee is exposed to hazards and may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, heat and humidity, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration.
