Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of technical accounting principles and the ability to lead a team in maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other regulatory standards. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. Implement and maintain accounting software systems to enhance operational efficiency. Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls. Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support in technical accounting matters. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business strategy. Skills Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in IFRS standards and regulatory reporting requirements. Experience with accounting software systems for effective financial management. Excellent financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Solid understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles. Strong financial acumen, enabling informed decision-making based on financial data. Ability to perform thorough account reconciliations efficiently.
