SR AP Coordinator

Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Representative to take ownership of the full AP function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can work independently, and brings strong technical and reconciliation skills. Experience in manufacturing, food, or CPG industries is preferred, though we will consider top-tier AP professionals from other backgrounds with demonstrated stability and growth. Key Responsibilities* Own and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process with minimal oversight * Perform account reconciliations, including vendor statements and general ledger tie-outs * Execute and oversee weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers * Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, coding, and approvals * Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve discrepancies proactively * Support month-end close activities related to AP * Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency * Assist with system transitions and process documentation as neededQualifications* 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, with senior-level responsibility * Proven ability to own the AP function independently * Strong experience with reconciliations and payment processing (checks, ACH, wires) * Background in manufacturing, food, or CPG is highly preferred* Will consider candidates outside these industries with strong, stable AP experience* Demonstrated systems proficiency (ERP systems required; experience with Syspro is a plus but not required) * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEducation* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experienceIdeal Candidate Profile* Stable work history with clear progression in AP roles * Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally * Process-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented * Strong communicator with a hands-on, "own it" mentality#zip
