OverviewWe are seeking a highly capable Controller to lead core accounting operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and play a critical role in financial stewardship, team leadership, and executive-level communication across a global organization. This is a hybrid role, 4x a week in-office. They are offering $160,000-180,000/year salary (flexible) plus 20% bonus and are looking for someone to start ASAP. This position is located in NW Los Angeles and offers medical/dental, & PTO.Candidates open to relocating to the area are being considered and the company assists with the move.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop an accounting team of approximately 5 direct reports, including an Accounting ManagerOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a high bar for accuracy and timelinessPresent financial results and insights directly to executive and global leadership teamsServe as a primary accounting leader in cross-functional and international discussionsEnsure strong internal controls, compliance, and technical accounting rigorSupport a complex operating environment involving physical goods, inventory, and logisticsQualificationsCPA required (US CPA; Big 4/Top 10 public accounting background strongly preferred)Around 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership rolesExperience in manufacturing, retail, logistics, or another hard‑goods environment with inventory exposureComfortable in a PE-backed environment: high-visibility, fast-paced setting with strong executive presenceHands-on leader with personality, confidence, and the ability to operate independently at the leadership tableWhy This RoleThis is a high-impact opportunity for a sharp, technically strong Controller to step into a visible leadership role with room to influence, grow, and partner closely with senior decision-makers in a dynamic organization.*Please note: If you do not have your CPA and/or are from an industry that provides services with no physical product, this would disqualify you from being considered.Please click the link to apply!
