This role will be focused on building and enhancing high-volume, low-latency backend services as part of a microservices-based architecture.The candidate will work closely with product owners, architects, and distributed engineering teams across the US.Key ResponsibilitiesLead backend development for core platform servicesDesign and implement microservices for high-traffic applicationsContribute to system design discussions and architecture decisionsIntegrate backend services with internal and third-party systemsReview code, guide developers, and enforce engineering standardsTroubleshoot production issues and ensure system stabilityCollaborate with DevOps for deployment and release managementRequired Skills12+ years of backend development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Java and Spring BootExperience building microservices in a cloud environmentSolid understanding of system design (scalability, performance, resilience)Experience developing RESTful APIsStrong experience with relational and NoSQL databasesHands-on with Git for version controlExperience with build tools like Maven or GradleExposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft AzureNice to HaveExperience with Kafka or event-driven architectureContainerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience working in financial services or regulated environmentsCI/CD pipeline exposure
