You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support patients in managing their renal health.Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specificationProvide individualized nursing care to patients with renal conditions, including those undergoing dialysis, managing chronic kidney disease, or recovering from kidney-related procedures.Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and renal function, and recognize changes in patients' conditions, intervening as necessary.Administer medications, including those specific to renal care, such as erythropoietin, iron supplements, and phosphate binders, according to physician orders.Educate patients and their families about their renal condition, treatment options, dietary restrictions, and self-care practices to help them manage their health effectively.Work closely with nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing dialysis, ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.Provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of living with renal disease.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to ensure the highest standard of care for renal patients.
