REMOTE Databricks Data Architect

Our client is searching for a Data Architect that is strong with Databricks for a long-term remote contract.All candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis or through an approved vendor.In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture strategy using Databricks, with a focus on modernizing our data infrastructure and processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of our data architecture using Databricks Lakehouse Platform Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data flows to support our modernization efforts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business capability into technical specifications Implement data governance policies and ensure data quality and security Optimize data pipelines and improve system performance using Databricks tools Collaborate with team members on best practices for data architecture and Databricks technologies Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, with at least 2 years working with Databricks Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts Expertise in SQL and experience with Python or Scala Proficiency in Databricks technologies, including Delta Lake, Spark SQL, and MLflow Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements Excellent problem-solving and communication skills About TEKsystems We're partners in transformation.
