This role combines electrical engineering, systems engineering, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to develop safe, reliable, and regulatory-compliant products. The ideal candidate has strong experience in medical device development, including hardware architecture, embedded systems integration, verification and validation, and compliance with FDA and international standards.What You'll DoLead development of electrical system architecture for medical devices and associated subsystemsDefine system requirements, interfaces, and performance specificationsDesign and review analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics systemsSupport sensor integration, signal conditioning, motor control, and communication interfacesCollaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure full system integrationTranslate user needs into technical requirements and traceability documentationPerform system-level trade studies and technical risk assessmentsDevelop interface control documents (ICDs), block diagrams, and system modelsDrive requirements management and change control processesTranslate user needs into technical requirements and traceability documentationPerform system-level trade studies and technical risk assessmentsDevelop interface control documents (ICDs), block diagrams, and system modelsDrive requirements management and change control processesMentor junior engineer and provide technical leadership as required/needed.
