Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors/providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient intake/care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Interview patients and document basic medical historyOrganize and schedule appointmentsUpdate and file medical records and insurance reportsArrange hospital admissions and laboratory servicesCheck with patients and type up patients chartsAssist during medical examinationsProduce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsPrepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments​Qualifications:Proven working experience as a medical assistant or CNAKnowledge of medical office management systems and proceduresExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workSocial perceptiveness and service orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency in MS Office and patient management softwareProficiency in typingStrong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCompany DescriptionAt LSPMC we take pride in providing excellent, compassionate, loving, caring, and non judgmental pain care services to our patients.
