You will work closely with market partners to deliver high-quality lending services, ensuring transactions align with risk and credit standards. We value teamwork, open communication, and a client-centric approach.The Securities Based Lending team specializes in handling high-volume, lower-risk credit transactions, including lines of credit, term loans, and standby letters of credit. You will be empowered to make decisions within your credit authority and collaborate with colleagues across the business. This role offers exposure to a broad range of financial products and the opportunity to develop expertise in the securities industry.Job responsibilitiesAnalyze client investment portfolios and structure securities-based lending transactionsPrice, risk-grade, and document lines of credit, term loans, and standby letters of creditReview and approve new deals, amendments, and annual reviews within credit authorityProvide guidance to market partners on client needs and credit solutionsEnsure compliance with credit policies and risk management standardsCollaborate with team members to deliver seamless client serviceMaintain accurate records and documentation for all transactionsMonitor portfolio performance and identify potential risksSupport ongoing process improvements and efficiency initiativesCommunicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersParticipate in training and development opportunities to enhance skillsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsThree years of private banking, asset management, or credit/lending experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood organizational skills and ability to work independentlyGeneral understanding of financial markets and securities industryAbility to work well in an integrated team environmentDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with securities-based lending productsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with credit risk assessment toolsPrior experience in a high-volume lending environmentKnowledge of regulatory requirements for lendingAbility to adapt to changing business needs
