Lead Data Engineer
**Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business partners** to translate requirements into robust, production‐ready solutions.* 8 years' strong expertise in **Azure cloud services**, such as Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.* Strong understanding of **data architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platform engineering**.* Demonstrated strength as a **creative and analytical problem solver**, capable of navigating ambiguity and designing effective solutions.* Ability to lead technical discussions, influence design decisions, and mentor engineers.* Experience working with healthcare data is a plus.8+ years' extensive hands‐on experience with **Snowflake**, including performance tuning, data modeling, RBAC, tasks, streams, and secure data sharing.Proficiency in **SQL, Python**, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks.Experience working with **MuleSoft** for API‐driven integrations, data movement, and connecting cloud and on‐prem systemsExperience with **CI/CD** pipelines, Git‐based workflows, and infrastructure‐as‐code (**Terraform**, Bicep, or similar).Ability to **work independently**, take ownership of complex technical initiatives, and drive them to completion.* At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested* Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership* Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.* Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.* Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information#J-18808-Ljbffr
