Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gloucester, VA for a Development Associate. The Development Associate will be responsible for spearheading fundraising initiatives, managing donor relations, conducting research to support development strategies, and analyzing fundraising data. The individual will work closely with staff and stakeholders, managing communications and assisting in organizing events to meet the school’s development goals. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholdersProficiency in research and analytical skills to identify development opportunities and assess fundraising dataExperience in fundraising and a demonstrated ability to meet financial goals in a non-profit settingAbility to manage multiple tasks effectively and collaborate as part of a teamFamiliarity with database management and donor tracking systems is a plusPassion for education and alignment with Ware Academy’s mission and valuesBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Non-Profit Management, or Business preferred
