AI Engineer/Developer

AI Engineer/DeveloperTrident Consulting is seeking an AI Engineer/Developer for one of our clients in Austin, TX (Hybrid onsite 3 days). This role is with a global leader in business and technology services.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and AI systems (e.g., NLP, computer vision, generative AI/LLMs, recommendation systems)Build and maintain data pipelines for training and inferenceDeploy models into production environments and ensure scalability, reliability, and performanceCollaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into productsEvaluate and fine-tune models, conduct experiments, and analyze resultsMonitor deployed models for drift, bias, and performance degradationStay current with emerging AI/ML research, tools, and best practicesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fieldStrong programming skills in Python (and/or Java, C++)Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps toolsUnderstanding of algorithms, statistics, and data structuresExperience with LLMs, transformers, or generative AI is a plusPreferred Skills:Experience with MLOps/CI-CD for ML pipelinesKnowledge of distributed computing and model optimization (quantization, pruning)Strong problem-solving and communication skills
